New look has easy to switching tabs grouping the different features of new Media Player. Starting from first tab Now Playing:

Now Playing, clicking on this tab adjusts the player frame into two parts having visualization/video screen at left and list pane at the right. List pane shows the album or song information in its top section and playlist in its lower section. Left pane shows the visualizations or video when you play any audio or video file. You can turn on/off these visualizations if it makes your PC slow coz these visualizations consume high video memory and CPU.
Playback controls at the bottom are now easy to find and use. Microsoft has made it easy for new users to switch on/off the shuffle, repeat and full screen options.
An arrow below the Now Playing tab opens a menu with options like show or hide list pane, Enhancements, Visualizations (same as above) and Plugins. Enhancements has another collection of features like Media Player Color chooser that can be used to change the media player skin color, Cross Fading and Auto Volume leveling, Graphic Equalizer,  Video Settings, Play Speed Settings and SRS Wow Effects.

Second Tab Library switches you to the Media Library View. Library provides the options for creating and managing playlists, accessing different media types such as pictures, music, videos, recorded TV etc. In the left side navigation pane that changes according to the media type shows number of views for music. You can view the music collection by different groups like, album view, artist view, rating view and many more.

Instant Search for Large Music Collection

Windows Media Player 11 has been optimized for massive large collection media tracks. Music lovers rips number of CDs, download music from online sites and record their favorite TV programs directly on the PC, Windows Media Player now has the capability to organize the large collection of tracks as well as provides the feature of powerful instant search.

Rip, Burn and Sync Music Tracks

Rip, Burn and Sync Tabs allows you to extract the music tracks from the CD or DVDs into your desired format, burn them on another storage media or share them by synchronizing with other portable devices. Back and Forward Button at top left most position of windows media player enables you to move on previously visited tabs according to your history moves.
